This Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page is to give you information on how to make the most of your visit to Oasis Lavender Farm.

Our Farm is situated on a much larger acreage with two other farms: Garnet Valley Ranch, which grows Certified Organic wine grapes for processing into the delicious wines of Okanagan Crush Pad, and LocalMotive, an organic fruit and ground crops farm that offers a home delivery service and has a store in Penticton.

When you visit Oasis Lavender Farm, you will be in the midst of active, working farms. We want you to enjoy your visit, have fun, and stay safe!

WHERE CAN I BUY OASIS LAVENDERS PRODUCTS?

You can buy our products at several seasonal markets (check the calendar for dates) or at the Summerland Community Arts Council, Bella Vita Flowers in Summerland, or LocalMotive in Penticton.

WHERE IS OASIS LAVENDER FARM?

We are located at Garnet Valley Ranch, 26405 Garnet Valley Road in Summerland.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW WHEN I’M ON AN ACTIVE, WORKING FARM?

Speed limit

• Travel the farm roads at no more than 20 km/h.

• Respect oncoming traffic and farm equipment.

• Watch for farmers.

What to wear

• CLOSED-TOE SHOES ARE A MUST! There are plants (cactus) and critters living in the Garnet Valley Ranch ecosystem.

• Dress for the weather; be comfortable.

• Consider wearing sunscreen and bug repellent.

On-site amenities

• At this time, there is only a port-a-potty on site.

• At this time, ONLY irrigation water is available on-site, so bring your own water.
